Yurp. Check out this album. Its real glitchy, but a bit different because of the female`s vocals. A lot softer then most of the stuff I listen to, but if you listen to the entire album, you`ll get a feel for their concept. Thought provoking love tunes. Live from planet nippon. Check out this picture of the famous Japanese rock garden at Ryōan-ji in Kyoto. No trees, just 15 irregularly shaped rocks of different sizes, arranged in a bed of white gravel/sand that is raked every day. The thing I like most about it is, nobody knows who designed it. This garden dates back the 14 hundos. hundos son hundos.

The man has passed. When I moved to Japan one of my dreams was to see him live. I saw. I also had the chance to sit down and have a conversation with him about music. I remember walking away feeling enlightened. Nujabes made some real peaceful music and I promise to play it forever.

This series of nudes, depicts the female form as - a symbol of fertility, as the vessel for "The Wanting Seed"; soft, inviting curves of voluptuous flesh - the cozy nests of incubation, are reminiscent of rolling hills and deep ravines: the splendor of Mother Earth, mother to us all. Mother's milk are the oceans of creation...

The nudes are stoic figures, statues to Oedipal lust, so much a part of the surrounding landscape, and yet removed, separate... Powerful and erotic, they are universes in themselves, pregnant with the future.

This exhibition is a celebration of the feminine figure and the bittersweet yearning for the magic of what is just out of reach, in that world between sleep and dream, where all things manifest.

Many turntablists have inspired me, but only a few really stand out. I remember seeing Roc Raida:s DMC routine for the first time and tripping out. I couldn*t believe how quick he was. He:s actually the reason I decided not to focus on beat juggling. He made it look impossible. Q bert is great, Mix Master Mike is great, but Roc Raida truly embodied the soul of a true new york dj. Ninja of rap sonnnnnnn.

Rolled out to Kyoto last weekend. Finally hit up Kiyomizu-dera and Fushimi Inari Shrine. It was an official experience. Inari is the god of business, so each one of those tori (orange gates) were donated by businesses. There are over 5,000 gates and it takes about 2 hours to walk through em all. I only made it through two sections, but I'll be back. I def. need to blaze something in there. Here are a few photos and a video I made.

Here's a quick video I made. I only had enough herb to keep me high enough to create a 2 minuter. All of the footage was taken in Osaka and Kanazawa. All 5 clips. The opening clip took place in Kanazawa. Every Friday I teach at this day care. I usually show up 20 minutes early and post up infront of this shrine. It's really small, about three cartwheels long. (Lately, I' ve been measuring everything in cartwheels because the metric system fucks me up) This guy comes through every so often and sings/preys/bangs on that drum. It's real chill and real relaxing. I then segued into a scene with a monk at Osaka station. He stands completely still, waiting for donations, as the afternoon commute blindly walks past him. I hit him up with some yen and recieved this dope card. The rest of the video is self explanitory...footage I took on the bus from Osaka, me smoking the Hookah, and the lantern festival at Asanogawa river in Kanazawa. Life's been pretty. Enjoy.

I've been living in Japan for 1 year, 8 months, and 12 days. That's 621 days, 88 weeks, 14,904 hours, 894,240 minutes or 53,654,400 dope ass seconds. It's about time I document my life and my thoughts. I'm not sure how on point I will be with this thing, but stay tuned. You're bound to see some official shhhh. Japan is more than Geisha's and Samurai's. It's bigger than Tokyo. More than just screaming out "konichiwa bitches'. Here, I'll feature this beautiful country as well as art, music, politics, and videos from myself and others I find inspiring. Soo yeah. I'ma warm things up with this track I'm feeling by Samon Kawamura, a producer raised in Tokyo, but currently holding it down in Germany. Let's all stay creative.
